The Infectious disease division treats infections caused by various microbes (germs, viruses, eumycetes, parasites, etc) and infectious diseases for various organs. It also diagnoses causes of unknown fevers (fevers of unknown origin) and conducts counseling prior to overseas trips as well as treatments for infectious diseases related to overseas trips and vaccination.
Fevers of unknown origin, collum lymphnodopathy (Kikuchis disease, tuberculous lymphadenitis), extrapulmonary tuberculosis, HIV infection, Tsutsugamushi disease, urinary tract infection, influenza, syphilis, phlegmon, food poisoning, traveler's diarrhea, malaria, dengue fever, etc.
