The Pathology division conducts sectional professional examinations like tissue pathology, cell pathology, immunity pathology, and molecule pathology.
- The diagnosis of benign tumors and inflammatory diseases as well as malignant tumors through various preprocessing of biopsy specimens or tissue samples obtained during surgery
- Early diagnosis of diseases or progression analysis over a recurrence of diseases after surgery through gynecologic cell tests, body fluid cell tests, fine needle aspiration cytology, liquid-based cytology, etc
- Identification of origin and treatment of tumors, and progression analysis of prognosis by observing the development after anti-body responses to particular antigens on which tissues appear
- Analysis of tumors and infectious diseases and observation of prognosis, like drug resistance, used for treatment through advanced molecular genetic tests over tissues and cypopathologic samples
